Events & Activities

Events and activities are organised between the staff and the clients at regular meetings. Some of the events organised include:

• Regular quizzes
• Arts and crafts
• Pampering afternoons
• Entertainers
• Gardening
• Knitting
• Baking
• Film afternoons
• Coffee mornings
• Flower arranging

 

Every month the local Methodist church holds a church service and twice a month a fellowship meeting.
Clients wishing to attend their own churches and services are supported in doing so by the staff.

 

Special Events

• Special Valentine's day lunches
  (Our staff dress up in tuxedos and serve champagne and chocolates to the clients after lunch)
• Easter egg making & decorating
• Summer barbeque which was a Caribbean theme this year.
• Pumpkin decorating
• Bonfire party with fancy dress for the children
• Christmas celebrations include:
  • Children's choir
  • Church services
  • Carole concert
  • Pant
  • Belvoir Vale's famous Christmas party with all the trimmings.
